I Want My Mojo Back!
Many professional women find themselves in search of their mojo at some point in their lives. Whether it’s burn-out at work, stress from family or relationships, or mid-life blues, or sometimes there’s no more energy or desire for pleasurable things in our go.
The women I work with on this issue are from all walks of life - entertainment industry, medical professionals, professors, private chefs, gym-junkies, wives, moms, etc. This issue affects almost all of us - and it shows up most disappointingly, in the bedroom.
The nature of our love lives has a significant impact on our life happiness. But, how do we get back to happy when we need enthusiasm to have a love life? It can be a vicious cycle of guilt, frustration, and disappointment - mostly with ourselves.
My therapy work with my clients in this area usually includes several different modalities and strategies. But, there are some common denominators:
- Self-Care - Even women who excel at self-care struggle with this during these no-mojo times
- Communication with your Partner - bringing and breathing life back into your desire and connection with your partner
- Fantasies and Desires - Mixing things up and breaking routines
- Intimacy - reconnecting with yourself and making YOU a priority
So many of my patients have waited so long to reach out for a myriad of reasons, but the common theme is not prioritizing themselves. You do not have to rebuild your happiness and libido alone; lets connect and get you back to YOU
Whether you work with me or someone else, It's important to find a therapist who’s very experienced at working with issues of reduced libido/no mojo/intimacy issues, and with whom you feel safe and at ease. Tis process might be challenging but w can work together to help you bring back the joy and excitement in your sexual life.
